Backpack, Hike, Rock Climb, Whitewater Raft
Experience the mountains, rivers and plains of the Rocky Mountains on this 14 day adventure. Upon arriving, students will jump right in, taking on Clear Creek by paddle raft and setting out on foot to explore the trails in Rocky Mountain National Park. With a few days of hiking under their belts, the group will head to southern Wyoming to backpack in the Snowy Range of the Medicine Bow National Forest. They’ll trek through beautiful high alpine landscapes, past pristine alpine lakes and under granite peaks shaped by glaciers. On this backpacking adventure, students will hone their backcountry skills, purifying water, cooking over small stoves and learning to use a map and compass. After backpacking, students will spend the last few days of their adventure rock climbing the famous crags of Vedauwoo. This trip will surely inspire any young adventurer!
