Trip Overview
Surrounded by the towering Tetons and the wonders of Yellowstone National Park, this 14-day adventure is action-packed and the perfect introduction to a wide variety of outdoor activities. Students will take part in 2 days of rock climbing instruction from local experts in Grand Teton National Park! Whether a beginner or a seasoned climber, students will enjoy a variety of routes in such an iconic and pristine setting. Students will also try their hand at sea kayaking, as they spend 3 days gliding across the pristine backcountry waters of Lewis and Shoshone Lakes in Yellowstone. They will learn how to paddle properly, as well as how to select and set up a backcountry campsite, source and purify water, and cook over small backpacking stoves. A unique component of this program is the opportunity to complete a 4 day whitewater kayaking progression. Students will spend 4 days learning how to whitewater kayak from local experts– they will learn the ropes on flat water and then will test their skills in the Snake River. This trip is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself into three epic outdoor adventures in a pristine wilderness setting.
