Begin your adventure on the historic Boulder Mail Trail in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, where honing backcountry leadership skills while traversing iconic red rock landscapes. As the sun sets, experience the profound silence of desert nights under a brilliant canopy of stars, camping deep within towering sandstone formations.

The journey continues with a multi-day rafting expedition through Desolation Canyon (Utah Red Rocks is the only Wilderness Adventures trip that features an extended river section!). You’ll navigate thrilling whitewater and peaceful stretches between soaring canyon walls, mastering the unique rhythm of life on the water. 

To cap off the experience, return to the frontcountry for two days of expert-led canyoneering, learning to rappel and navigate the desert’s hidden slots.
