Itinerary
Begin your big adventure in Arusha, getting to know Tanzania’s culture and environment through a visit to a local coffee farm and artisan workshop and a guided wildlife safari through Serengeti National Park. Then, explore N’Gornogoro Crater and day hike Mount Meru to begin acclimatizing to the altitude.
Community service projects are chosen based on the needs of local communities each year. Throughout this project, you’ll build deep connections with your tripmates and the communities around you, leaving a meaningful contribution behind.
Spend the second half of the trip on the climb of a lifetime: attempt a summit of Kilimanjaro via the six-day Rongai route. After the long journey to the summit, unwind with well-earned time by a waterfall and dinner out in town. You’ll return to the US with endless stories and a genuine lifetime achievement.
