Trip Overview

Our 28-day Alaska Southcentral adventure is the perfect program for the most eager and experienced adventurers, or students looking for a real challenge. Spend 18 nights in Alaska’s stunning, remote backcountry wilderness, watching the sun and clouds dance across snow-capped peaks while trekking through the volcanic mountain kingdom of the Talkeetnas. Hone navigational skills using map and compass to guide the trek all the way to the Chickaloon River, where the group will be met with whitewater rafts for a thrilling two-day raft trip out of the backcountry.

Following the expedition through the Talkeetnas, experience the pristine waters of Prince William Sound by sea kayak. Paddle amongst whales and past towering glaciers for eight days! 

Admire glaciers from an even closer vantage point as you cap off the adventure with a two-day ice climbing progression. From tracing braided rivers to their glaciated source, to sea kayaking alongside the largest mammals on Earth, experience the magnetism that makes Alaska the last enchanted frontier.
