Wilderness Adventures is excited to launch the hiring season for our 52nd summer of inspiring growth and wonder! Strong field staff are the backbone of our organization. They are the teachers, the risk managers, the guides, and the magic makers. We seek to hire highly motivated, flexible, hard-working individuals who have a passion for youth development and celebrating the natural world. Our Trip Leaders are the driving force behind our mission to inspire growth and wonder and Do Something Wild. 

As a Wilderness Adventures employee, you will emphasize our core values  of Community, Leadership, and Natural World on the daily while participating in activities like backpacking, kayaking, rafting, sailing, mountaineering, and more! You need not be an expert in any of these areas as your personality and drive will outweigh your hard skills this summer. During our 2-week staff training program that takes place at our headquarters in the Tetons, we will ensure each individual is equipped with the technical skills necessary to lead a successful summer of adventure. As a Trip Leader, you will be working long, action-packed, and sometimes tiring days back to back. While this work is rewarding, fun, and non-traditional in many ways, it will be challenging mentally and physically.
