Solar Power installed in Climbers Ranch

By wpdev July 7, 2009

In an effort to offset energy consumption, a solar electric system was installed at the historic Climbers Ranch in Grand Teton National Park. Wilderness Ventures has been leading climbing adventures for young people from the Climbers Ranch for close to four decades. Since 1977 over 2,400 young adults have climbed the Grand Teton with us. That’s 10 times more than all other teenage programs combined.

Besides the 13,77-foot Grand Teton, Wilderness Ventures leads teen adventure camps that offer young people opportunities to climb Mt Rainier, Mt Baker, Mt Shasta, Mt Saint Helens, Mont Blanc, The Breithorn and several magnificent peaks in the Teton Range. Our wilderness adventures are open to students of all abilities and no prior experience is required. All of our teen adventure camps feature amazing people, activities and leadership opportunities amongst the most inspirational settings on the planet.
