Costa Rica Pura Vida 14-Day Trip

“Pura Vida,” meaning “pure life,” is more than just a saying in Costa Rica, it’s a way of life for those who call this happy country home. In addition to earning 30 hours of community service, our students will—raft a jungle river, soar through the forest on an aerial zipline, learn to surf, brush up on their Spanish language skills, and relax on pristine, white sand beaches—making for a true pura vida summer.

Costa Rica 21-Day Trip

Similar to our briefer 14-day Costa Rica trip, this nearly month-long trip will have your teen living pura vida as they explore this unspoiled tropical paradise of pristine beaches, exotic wildlife, and colorful flora. They will receive 50 hours of community service hours as they partake in projects such as maintenance work at a rural school in a cloud forest, teaching local school children English, and restoring nesting habitats for endangered sea turtles. 

In their free time, our students will discover the beauty of this peaceful country as they surf along white sand beaches, raft the jungle rivers, explore Corcovado National Park, and soar through the forest on a high treetop jungle zipline.
