The Most Visited National Parks

Mother Nature has a number of wondrous places to visit, and they are all right here in the United States. If you and your family are looking for an adventure, chances are there is a National Park near you that can offer more than just an adventure, but beauty and awe as well.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee, North Carolina- The busiest of all National Parks, the Smoky Mountains offers views, forests, and animals alike.

The Grand Canyon, Arizona- With the South Rim being the most visited side of The Grand Canyon, it is a good idea to consider visiting the North Rim, which offers many hiking trails as well as evergreen forests.

Yosemite National Park, California- This National Park is composed of stunning waterfalls, deep valleys, ancient sequoias, as well as hundreds of animal species.

Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana- With this National Park, which spans three states, you can experience more geysers and hot springs than anywhere else in the United States.

Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado- With this National Park’s main attraction being it’s sweeping vistas, this National park is also visited for its 150 lakes, 450 miles of streams, and wide variety of ecosystems.

Olympic National Park, Washington- This National Park, which is along the Pacific Coast, is composed of sea stacks, which is considered home to a variety of birds and animals.

Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming- Not only do visitors enjoy this National Park year-round, but it is especially enjoyable in September and October, which brings a better chance of seeing elk than during the summer months.

Zion Canyon & Zion National Park, Utah- With more than 100 miles of backcountry trails, this National Park offers rock towers, sandstone canyons, and sharp cliffs to adventure seekers all over.

Acadia National Park, Maine- This National Park is made up of parkland, private property, and seaside villages. It is most popular for its 120 miles of hiking trails and popular Eagle Lake.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Ohio- Most known for its Brandywine Falls, this National Park offers visitors wildlife, tree-covered hills, and rugged gorges, as well as hiking trails.
