Just as our summer adventures connect great people through great experiences, our winter slideshows are a the perfect chance to learn about our summer opportunities live and in-person. In addition to offering the valuable opportunity to hear from former WV students and their families in your local area and the opportunity to meet with a member of our knowledgeable office staff team, attending one of our fun slideshows offers the chance to win valuable tuition credit.
Attend one of our local presentations, and you will automatically be entered to win a special “thank you” credit towards the 2013 trip of your choice. This year, with over 70 unique adventures on six continents, WV has a world of exciting opportunities in store. Without a doubt the best way to learn about these opportunities is by attending one of our local presentations. As a result, we’re offering these special incentive prizes to local winners.
- 1st Place – $1,000 tuition credit
- 2nd Place – $500 tuition credit
- 3rd Place – $250 tuition credit
Thanks to the enthusiasm of over 21,000 alumni, Wilderness Ventures has grown thoughtfully and exponentially over the past 41 years. While our adventures today span the globe — offering opportunities for meaningful community service, experiential field study and immersive language learning — the foundational core of our effective programming has always come from the fundamental values and goals that we forged with our first summer adventure in 1973. By introducing young people to beautiful environments through fun activities with a supportive group of their peers, we build confident leaders, skilled, team players and thoughtful, young citizens who each hold a vital connection to the natural world.
Four decades after our first summer adventure, the bulk of our programming has grown within the inspirational wilderness environments of the Rocky Mountains, the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, whose stunning beauty has captured the imaginations of generations of WV students. Just as we use these magical environments for their ability to foster leadership development, creative thinking, team skills, self-assuredness and problem solving capabilities; we’ve relied on the low-tech magic of face-to-face communication to spread the message of our wonderful programs since 1973. Attending one of our local presentations is the best way to find the perfect opportunity for your child this summer.
Tuition Credit Contest Details and Conditions
Tuition credit prizes are only valid for the 2013 summer season, and cannot be applied to future years. Credit must be used by the winners or a member of their immediate family. Tuition credits are not transferable and have no cash value.
The drawing will take place after the conclusion of our last slideshow presentation in early February. We’ll announce the lucky winners on our Facebook page. Good luck. We look forward to seeing you in person this winter.
