Choosing Your Ideal Wilderness Adventure

By Wilderness Adventures February 26, 2016

With all the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that Wilderness Adventures has to offer, no wonder choosing the right adventure may be challenging. In order to make this tough decision a bit easier, we at Wilderness Adventures have come up with a list of questions you should ask yourself before choosing your ideal wilderness adventure.

  1. Where do I want to adventure?
  2. What activities do I prefer?
  3. How long can I go?
  4. How much challenge do I want?

While these questions are a good resource in narrowing down the variety of trips we offer, it is important to consider how long you wish to be on your adventure. While the younger students typically choose the shorter adventure trips, we often times have many of our older students wishing they had made the decision to take a longer adventure.

Our adventure programs are also broken down into several groupings, which helps to give students the opportunity to decide if the required abilities and activities are for them and if the destination is somewhere they’d like to go. We do prefer to keep our groups according to age group, which helps them to feel more comfortable, especially when they are with their peers.
