Summits of 2014!

By Wilderness Adventures December 17, 2014

A summit attempt is an incredible experience for anyone, regardless of age, experience level, location, guided or not! Wilderness Adventures is proud to provide summit attempts for students of all ages, all over the world.

Peaks Wilderness Adventures students have recently summited include: Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainier, and Mt. Adams in Washington State, The South Sister in Oregon, Mt. Shasta in California, The Grand Teton and Table Mountain in Wyoming, La Plata Peak and Mt. Yale in Colorado, Mt. Washington in New Hampshire, and Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

Different mountains provide different challenges. Summit attempts with WA vary greatly depending on the mountain, the trip, and the weather! Snow climbing, glacier travel, technical mountaineering, rope teams, 3 AM alpine starts, cultural immersion, or just a long walk – these are all possibilities! If you are interested in a summit experience, please give us a call in the office and we can figure out the perfect trip for you.
